Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using SeekFirstly ("Service," "Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this Service. SeekFirstly is a comprehensive church management and community platform designed to help churches manage members, events, communications, giving, and community engagement.

Description of Service

SeekFirstly provides a multi-tenant Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform for churches, including:

Member management & directory
Event creation & QR check-in
Online giving & financial management
Social feed & community engagement
Private messaging & conversations
Groups & discussions
Prayer wall & tracking
Devotionals & Bible reading
Celebrations & milestones
Custom forms & surveys
Sermon management
File storage & management

Account Registration and Church Membership

To use our Service, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age
  • Register with accurate and complete information
  • Verify your email address before gaining full access
  • Be associated with a registered church organization
  • Maintain security and confidentiality of your credentials

Church administrators are responsible for managing their organization's account, members, roles, and permissions within the platform.

Subscription and Payment Terms

SeekFirstly operates on a subscription-based model:

  • Subscription plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis
  • Payment processing is handled securely through Paddle as our Merchant of Record
  • A 30-day free trial is available for new subscriptions (no credit card required)
  • We may modify pricing with 30 days advance notice

By subscribing, you authorize Paddle to charge your designated payment method for all applicable fees. All transactions are subject to Paddle's Terms of Service.

Refund Policy

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. If you're not satisfied with SeekFirstly for any reason, simply contact us within 14 days of your subscription start date, and we'll process a complete refund.

Refund requests can be made within 14 days of the initial subscription purchase

Refunds are processed by Paddle and typically take 5-10 business days to appear
After 14 days, you may cancel your subscription at any time; your access continues until the end of your billing period

User Responsibilities and Conduct

You are responsible for:

Maintaining confidentiality of your account credentials

All activities that occur under your account

Ensuring accuracy of information you provide

Respecting the privacy and rights of other users

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Upload harmful, offensive, harassing, or inappropriate content
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Attempt unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
  • Scrape or harvest user data without authorization
  • Engage in fraudulent giving or financial transactions

User-Generated Content

Our Service allows you to post, share, and store content including posts, comments, prayer requests, messages, images, and files ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but grant SeekFirstly a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your User Content as necessary to provide the Service.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all necessary rights to share such content. We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.

Online Giving and Financial Features

Our giving and financial management features are provided as tools for churches to track and manage offerings:

  • Offering records are maintained for administrative purposes
  • Anonymous giving options are available
  • Church administrators are responsible for verifying and reconciling offerings
  • Giving records should not be considered official tax receipts

Marketplace Terms

The marketplace allows members to buy, sell, or trade items within their church community. SeekFirstly acts solely as a platform facilitating connections. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SeekFirstly and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Bible content is provided through licensed translations.

Our Service integrates with third-party services:

Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or functionality, and terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Data Retention and Account Termination

When you delete your account, personal data will be marked for deletion. Some data may be retained in anonymized form for analytics or as required by law.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEEKFIRSTLY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SeekFirstly and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through the Service or via email. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
